Prevala ridge is called the Cosmique ridge of the Julian Alps. Because there is a cable car approach. A rare thing in this area. An easy approach to the high alpine experience.
There is some exposed limestone climbing on the menu for this day. And it can be done in summer or winter.

The ridge is accessed by a slope above the Prevala cable car. The ridgeline traverse is varied, with some exposed sections and a climbing difficulty of around UIAA II both up and down. In certain conditions – when ice and snow can cover the ridge, winter climbing equipment is needed.
Like with all other tours the weather and conditions can be dangerous and do not allow us to finish the tour as planned. In this case Plan B will be proposed. Usually that is climbing a Via Ferrata in the valley. If Plan B is not accepted by the client we take the full amount of the booking fee.
